Evangelist
Dr. Wesley McCormick is a part-time local pastor at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church in Brundidge, AL. He also works full time with veterans as a licensed Clinical and Counseling Psychologist in Alabama. Wesley started attending Bethlehem Camp at the age of 16 and was called to ministry at age 17 at the altar under the tabernacle at camp.
Worship Leaders
The Youth Praise Band & Ensemble from Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama will lead us in meaningful worship music, beginning Friday evening and going through Sunday morning.
Sunday Night – Friday Morning
(June 19-24)
Evangelist
Dr. George Mathison will be preaching Sunday evening through Friday morning.
Bible Study Teacher
Dr. Gary Henecke will be our Bible Study teacher Saturday morning through Thursday evening.
Worship Leader
Mrs. Marsha Scarborough and guest guitarist will be leading our worship music Sunday night through Friday morning. Mrs. Gloria Cardona will once again serve as our wonderful pianist!
Youth Evangelist
Duke Underwood has been in many types of pastoral ministry since he graduated from High School in 1983. Duke has been a youth, children’s, mission, outreach or worship pastor in large, small, urban or rural churches in Texas and Oklahoma. Duke’s heart is evangelism. He has traveled extensively all over the nation and many places of the world to preach, teach and share the grace, power and love of Jesus Christ. In June of 2020, Duke was given the opportunity to become the Counselor at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas. Duke has the blessing of ministering with men who are working to overcome the challenges and difficulties of alcoholism, drug addiction and homelessness.
Duke is married to Melissa. They have 4 adult children and 2 teenagers. They are also blessed with 5 grandchildren. Duke has been the Youth Evangelist for Bethlehem Family Camp since the summer of 2001. Melissa and all of their children have come and have loved participating in their spirit and fun at Bethlehem.
Duke uses humor, laughter and high energy to teach and minister to the children and youth of Bethlehem Camp.
